Ali Noble is an artist on Gadigal Wangal land/ Sydney with an extensive history of exhibiting in artist-run-initiatives, institutions and commercial spaces throughout Sydney and interstate. Noble incorporates installation, sculpture, textiles and video into her practice. Materially, she amplifies a sensibility of enchantment and ‘soft-contrariness’ to counter experiences of standardisation and uniformity. For Noble, textiles in particular, embody versatility, eroticism and poetry in spaces that are typically hard-edged and rigid. Her work prioritises colour, sensuality and movement, fostering an environment of magic and possibility.

Noble recently completed her Masters of Fine Art, Sydney College of the Arts in 2023, where she was awarded a Fauvette Loureiro Research Scholarship in 2022 and the David Harold Tribe Memorial Research Scholarship (sculpture) in 2022. In 2025, Noble presented her solo exhibition Double Rainbow; a return to Magic at Stanley Street Gallery, followed by the group show Mother at Draw Space, Sydney. In 2026, she will re-imagine her MFA exhibition Nothing is Certain, said The Curtain at Wangaratta Art Gallery.
